Bennett Creek Ranch, LLC
About us
Bennett Creek Ranch is located in beautiful Greencreek, Idaho. It is owned and operated by Tony and Colleen Bennett.
"We developed a love for the Valais Blacknose Sheep and made it our goal to bring this beautiful animal to the United States. We started raising sheep a few years before venturing into the Valais Blacknose Sheep breed-up. We both grew up on a ranch and have always raised animals and love the lifestyle that it affords us and our family. We started off with a few ewes in year one, moved into semen distribution and breed-up support for other breeders. Now we are the largest producers of Scottish blackface/Valais cross lambs in the country. Coming from a ranching lifestyle Tony brought years of breeding and genetics to the table along with his ability to care and treat sheep. Colleen has a science background and loves to learn. Protocol implementation and process improvement is integral to her job and she has brought that enthusiasm to our breed-up program and nutrition program allowing us to produce a good number of high quality Valais crosses. We started our Breed-up venture in 2017 as one of the first breeders in the USA. We have yielded an average of 96% success rate on laproscopic a.i. from 2018-2020 breeding seasons. We have also helped countless customers achieve great success by following our protocols and nutrition plans. We are passionate about breeding high quality, friendly sheep. It is also our passion to help anyone in the breed-up program because it benefits us all if we all succeed."
